very impressive coming at us a little differently. yesterday one was parallel to the coastline, this one is perpendicular so it's going to slide in toward the bay area and all that moisture had train right through bringing very heavy rainfall. so it's going to be windy and very wet especially in the latter half of the day. lots of clouds out there right now. again, a chance of some scattered showers throughout the day. i think more numerous toward the afternoon. this is 2:00. you can still see the front still up in this direction and then it starts to sag to the south. as it does, we are going to see some very heavy rainfall developing overnight tonight but it's a slow-moving storm system and that's the concern because it's going to have a lot of time to dump a tremendous amount of rainfall maybe 2 to 4" in some wetter spots and more than that in the mountains. flooding more of a concern in the coming days. more on the weather coming up. thank you. >>> the north bay taking the brunt of the first round yesterday. they had as much as 2" of rain in parts of marin county. pg&e crews were

hillside that clams today with weeks ago because of a broken water main. they are using hay and mesh covering to keep more mud and debris from sliding down the hill. the city manager says they have to restore the hillside before they can repair the broken pipe. >>> gangs may be behind a gilroy drive by shooting. police say someone fired shots into a home on glenview drive around midnight. they also fired at a nearby parked car. according to police there were 8 people in the home during the shooting including a 4-month- old baby. no word if anybody was hit by gunfire. >>> the teen accused in a deadly crime spree in san jose will be in court this afternoon. the boy, adonis mull droe, will be tried as an adult. the 15-year-old faces 8 felony counts including murder and attempted murder of a police officer. police say he and 2 6-year-old jonathan wilbanks robbed some san jose businesses on november 16 killly rory parkpettiford. an officer was also injured. >>> two men are in custody. oakland police say it began monday when a husband shot cell phone video of another car being driven errat

latest. >> reporter: i just spoke with the fire inspector who says he will talk to us in a moment to update us. you can see there's a little aftermath of last night's fire. you can see it's still dark inside there. but there are crews working busy, contractors there trying to board up parts of the walls inside. but let's look at video from earlier. investigators found this suspicious molotov cocktail a makeshift bomb on the scene. that's one of the reasons they are thinking this could be a suspicious fire. contra costa fire protection district says it started around 11:15 last night at this shopping center in the 500 block of contra costa boulevard. >> there's a lot of smoke and fire alarms going off. at this point we consider it suspicious and we have an investigator on the way. >> reporter: it took crews about 20 minutes to put it out. no one was injured. back out live, there's still a lot of damage here that people are trying to wrap up and clean up. at this point, we don't know -- we can just see one business here magic touch lawn, we don't know how many other businesses were aff
